Top powerful supercomputer made in china

China surprise the world with a powerful supercomputer, what's interesting here is that the new supercomputer processor is fully made in china, with this step China processor technology production is closer to the U.S. supercomputer processor makers like Intel, AMD, and Nvidia. 

The new supercomputer called Sunway BlueLight MPP was introduced and tested in September at the National Supercomputer Center in Jinan, China, using 8,700 ShenWei SW1600 chips. 

The supercomputer can pass a thousand trillion calculations per second (or so-called Petavlob) and will be categorized within the 20 fastest super computer in the world and will use 8700 ShenWei SW1600 processor model.

The New York Times added that that ShenWei chip appears to be based "on some of the same design principles that are favored by Intel's most advanced microprocessors."

ZDNet UK's Jack Clark report these specifications :

According to (Tsao's) slides, which appear to be from a presentation describing the computer's capabilities, the ShenWei Sunway BlueLight MPP has 150TB main storage and 2PB external storage. Each ShenWei SW1600 processor is 64-bit based, packing 16-cores and is RISC-based.

Ivy Bridge release date with Z77, Z75 and H77 chipsets

The blue intelligence creator, Intel announced in a recent spotted report, that the new 22nm processor Ivy Bridge will be released in the next March 2012.

The new series will use the same architecture of the current generation the Sandy bridge, which is yet released and found big success, the Ivy Bridge will come up using the new 22nm process technology and will promise a low power consumption leading to a low heating and a high overclocking potential with a low heating.

What's new feature in the Evy Bridge line, is the add of the DirectX 11 support, OpenGL 3.1 support to the integrated on one die graphic chip, updating the integrated PCI-E controller to support faster transfer rate to meet the PCI Express 3.0 standard, in addition to minor improvements, the nice news is that the next Evy Bridge line will support the Socket LGA 1155, so it will be compatible with the current Cougar Point chipsets (Intel 6 series).

The TDP for desktop are 77,65,55,45 or 35W, and for mobile devices the Ivy Bridge will use a variable TDP design that make the processor has a low TDP enhancement and compared to the 32nm Sandy Bridge, also thanks to the 22nm process used.

In the same release date of the Ivy Bridge processors, Intel will also release new chipset line including the Z77, Z75 and H77 chipsets PCH controllers.

How to Backup/restore all Firefox data after new Windows installation

Hello Firefox users , All of you don't want to loose time on installing your Firefox add-on or saving your passwords again when you reinstall your Windows .

That's why today I want to introduce a trick that help you to restore all your Mozilla Firefox browser data after a new Windows installed, and when I say all , I mean everything from saved forms and passwords to bookmarks , plugins and websites setting.

Also with this method you don't need any software , tools or add-on , all you will do is copy and paste ,

So the steps are easy lets begin with the backup phase :

before you format or reinstall another windows , first :

1. Create folder in a 2nd partition for example "D:" or in a flash drive and name it for example "Backup" and create "Roaming" folder inside.
2. Close firefox
3. Go to "C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming" and copy the "Mozilla" to your Backup\Roaming , where (username) is the name of your windows session , the "C" is the system letter it depend on your system .
4. Now go to "C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Local" and copy the "Mozilla" folder to your Backup folder .
5. Now all your data are safe you can reinstall you windows .

When you finish reinstall your Windows , install Firefox and :

1. Copy the Mozilla folder inside "Backup\Roaming" back to "C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming"
2. And copy the  "Mozilla" folder inside "Backup" folder back to "C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Local".

That's it ,a very simple and fast method, now ALL your data are in safe ,and from now don't be afraid from installing a new system from now.

Sandy Bridge-E Benchmark estimation and stock Water cooler confirmed

Intel confirm that the next generation of CPUs will come with a Water cooled system as a stock cooler .

So Intel decide that these powerful extreme line CPUs must be combined with a water cooling system to cool down the six cores 32nm based Sandy Bridge-E that can achieve 3.9Ghz when in turbo boost mode .
