How to improve sound and Bass quality on Galaxy S i9003

Hello guys, another Galaxy S i9003 tutorial, this time its an important tweaks that I really like, this peace pf update will turn that bad sound and music quality on your Galaxy S into an outstanding beat bass high quality audio with Much better than beats audio and SRS, a clearer sound on your earphones, louder sound and and crystal clear even without an enhancement tool.

No more talk, lets start with a step by step how to flash this mod, first this require a rooted smartphone, already CMW recovery installed, if you don't do that follow our root and recovery tutorial over here.

Note that this tweak is not tested on ICS, it may not working properly.

Steps to install the audio tweaks.

• First download the MagaBassBeats_Mod_9003.zip file from the xda forum.
• Now copy it to the sdcard.
• Reboot to the recovery mode.
• Now select install from zip file and chose internal sdcard.
• Search for the zip file, hit power button, and chose yes.
• That's it now you can enjoy a great sound quality.

If you want more sound tweaks tool, you can give a try to an application named "equilizer", you can download it over Google Play for free, also use "Poweramp" as a music player, personally I really recommend these two apps.

Upgrade to Windows 8 from Windows 7, Vista and XP detailed

These are the final steps before the leaks of the new Microsoft's operating system Windows 8, and so, to put everything in place, Microsoft showed what users expects  and requirements to upgrade from Windows 7, Vista and Windows XP to Windows 8 OS; ZDNet managed to get contact with Microsoft.

Users will be able to upgrade to Windows 8 Enterprise (available to volume licensees with Software Assurance contracts only) from Windows 7 Professional and Windows 7 Enterprise while maintaining their existing Windows settings, personal files and applications.

Users will be able to upgrade to Windows 8 from Windows Vista (without SP1 installed) but only personal files (meaning data only) will be maintained. If upgrading from Vista with SP1, personal data and system settings will be maintained.

Users will be able to upgrade to Windows 8 from Windows XP with Service Pack 3 or higher but only personal files/data only will be maintained.

Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Vs ICS 4.0 performance test at 300fps record from Google

few days ago Google announced a new version of its mobile devices operating system Android 4.1 code named "Jelly Bean", today Google officially introduced a video showing a performance comparison between Android 4.0 ICS and Android 4.1 "Jelly Bean" at the Google I/O 2012 conference, the new mobile OS will be released on the mid-July for the Galaxy Nexus, Nexus S and Xoom smartphones.

New Google brain server with 16,000 processor cores

Google continue their innovation with a new researches aimed detect a cat on a picture, the project was tested to 10 million randomly selected YouTube video thumbnails over the course of three days, thanks to the artificial brain used consisting of up to an whooping 16,000 processor cores with a result 81.7 percent accuracy for human face detection as Google's Jeff Dean report.

Using a "deep learning algorithm" technique 

Google fellow Jeff Dean said:

Picking up on the most commonly occurring images featured on YouTube, the system achieved 81.7 percent accuracy in detecting human faces, 76.7 percent accuracy when identifying human body parts and 74.8 percent accuracy when identifying cats.

“Contrary to what appears to be a widely-held intuition, our experimental results reveal that it is possible to train a face detector without having to label images as containing a face or not,” the team says in its paper, Building high-level features using large scale unsupervised learning, which it will present at the International Conference on Machine Learning in Edinburgh, 26 June-1 July.

“The network is sensitive to high-level concepts such as cat faces and human bodies. Starting with these learned features, we trained it to obtain 15.8 percent accuracy in recognizing 20,000 object categories, a leap of 70 percent relative improvement over the previous state-of-the-art [networks].”

Galaxy S i9003 how to root, install recovery mode CWM, Install ICS and stable Android 2.3.6 (Complete guide and updated)

Hello again Android lovers, today on this complete guide we're going to learn step by step how to , root, install latest CWM touch recovery mode and then install the latest Andoid 4.0.3 ICS or 2.3.6 OS custom improved fast ROM, so this tutorial can be the best one for beginner to start with their new Samsung Galaxy S i9003 smartphone and unlock all potentials, BTW after some searches, I cant find out a real working tutorial for this smartphone, meanwhile I've decided to make this article the best and easy i9003 how to tutorial on the web.

First lets start with an easy and safe way to root the Galaxy i9003, this was tested on Android 2.3.3 and it worked fine.

Important Notice: we are not responsible for any damage or problem caused by the root, Kernel flash or ROM installation, GuruHT is not the owner of any software or file on these process, so please do this only if you know what you are doing and know what you may get.

How to root Galaxy S i9003/i9000B/i9000 using the easy way (no Odin or flash required):

• First you need to download and install Samsung kies over HERE, don't run it.
• Then download the DooMLoRD_v4_ROOT-zergRush-busybox from this thread.
• Now check debugging mode and Unknown sources on your Galaxy S, (settings->Applications->Development and tick USB debugging, also go to settings->Applications and tick Unknown sources).
• Connect your smartphone to the computer, and extract the zip file.
• Now run "runme.bat" and hit enter, wait this could take some times.
• If the process fail to root your i9003, try to open as many as you can applications on your smartphone to max-load the RAM  and try again.
• To check if it's rooted or not, just download and run ROMManager app from Google Play.

How to install latest CWM recovery mode Kernel:

We will use the safe Odin app method without need of a PC.

Warning: this  Kernel flash may damage your current Android system an will not be boot-able, so do it only if you are ready to install a new one.

• Download and copy to sdcard MobileODINLite-v2.45 over this page and MobileODIN_FlashKernel_I9003-v1.0 Kernel for the i9003 from here.
• Now using file manager on your smartphone, install MobileODINLite-v2.45.app, then open that app.
• Now chose open file and go search for the MobileODIN_FlashKernel_I9003-v1.0 .zip file, and select it.
• Now hit flash button bellow and wait.
• That's it, now you i9003 will reboot, hit any button to load the CWM recovery menu.

How to Install ICS Android 4.0.3 on Samsung Galaxy S i9003:

First keep in mind that this is a custom ROM, containing a not working features, but this ROM is really fast and cool !

What is not working is:

Video recording.

Wifi problem.

If you decide to give it a try bellow a step by step how to install this ported ICS ROM on the i9003:

• First of all you must install the latest CWM which is above.
• Download the ported ICS ROM over here,(source thread), and copy it to your sdcard root.
• Download HYBRID Gapps.
• Boot to the CWM recovery menu, Wipe caches, do a factory reset and fix permissions (CWM -> Advanced -> Fix Permissions)
• Go to install zip on the menu, chose sdcard and search for the downloaded ICS ROM.
• Now flash that ROM and wait.
• That's all now your i9003 smartphone is using ICS Android 4 as an OS.

Install Stable fast GB Android 2.3.6 CleanKpuRom custom ROM

Now if you want a stable and everything working ROM, I selected for you the CleanKpuRom, after testing lot of ROMs I managed to find that this is the best  stable GB Android 2.3.6, its a fast ROM with lot of improvements over the stock ROM, to install it follow the steps bellow.

• Now just copy that zip file to the sdcard root and reboot to the recovery mode.
• Wipe caches, do a factory reset and fix permissions (CWM -> Advanced -> Fix Permissions)
•  And select install zip on the recovery menu, chose sdcard and search for the downloaded CleanKpuRom ROM.
• Now confirm the install and wait.
• That's it, if you need to install Arabic language, just download it, copy to sdcard and install zip from sdcard on the recovery mode.

After the announcement of hitting the 100.000 application barrier for Windows phone OS, Today Microsoft officially announced to the world the new Microsoft Windows phone 8, after a long waiting and lot of leaks, rumors and details, the new mobile OS see the lights.

New 3DMark DX11 details and video demonstration

The number one in benchmark tool Futuremark will soon release the new version of 3DMark with new features that we exited to announce, they release the official press release including a FullHD video demo in addition to some technical detail about the software capabilities.

The next 3DMark will be the world's first unified graphics benchmark allowing testing of DirectX 9, DirectX 10 and DirectX 11 capable hardware through the DirectX 11 API, Futuremark will add a Windows 8 edition of the next 3DMark to take advantage of the next generation of Microsoft's operating system, the new 3DMark will be available later in 2012.

In the trade town of Scarport, buildings cling to canyon walls above canals of lava and provide shelter from the toxic volcanic atmosphere. Gaudy neon signs flicker as steam rises from the molten rivers running beneath the town. A trader walks along ledges carved from the volcanic rock,  smoke swirling around her flowing cloak. Her robotic sentinels keep watch, but what dangers lie hidden in the shadows?

The 3DMark DirectX 11 tech demo brings this scene to life with intelligent tessellation and advanced volumetric lighting using real-time light scattering. The visible particles and clouds of smoke in the scene react to other objects using fluid dynamics simulation. Post processing, ambient occlusion and various lens effects complete the look.

The new 3DMark is currently in development and is expected later in 2012 following the launch of Windows 8. It will also be compatible with Windows 7 and Windows Vista.

As we already said on the beginning, the Nvidia GTX 560 SE stand between the GTX 550Ti and the GTX 560, but when overclocking this card it can reach a faster performance up to 18924 on 3DMark Vantage, and when compared with the AMD HD7770 at standard clock they are very close at both price and performance, so its up to you to chose between the GTX 560 SE or HD7770.

The Intel® Xeon® processor E5-2600 product family reached a new supercomputing milestone as the fastest adopted new processing technology to power 44 systems, including 3 Petascale-class supercomputers on the 39th edition of the Top500 list announced today.
At the International Supercomputing Conference, Intel Corporation also announced that Intel® Xeon® Phi™ is the new brand name for all future Intel® Many Integrated Core Architecture (Intel MIC architecture) based products. Available by the end of 2012, the first generation of Intel Xeon Phi product family (coprocessors codenamed "Knights Corner") will complement the existing Intel Xeon processor E5-2600/4600 product families and deliver new levels of performance for highly parallel workloads. While the first generation primarily targets high performance computing (HPC), future generations of Intel Xeon Phi products will also address enterprise datacenters and workstations.

First Intel® Xeon® Phi™ Coprocessor Due This Year
Intel disclosed new technical details of the first commercially available product from its Intel Xeon Phi product family, a coprocessor codenamed "Knights Corner." In addition to delivering breakthrough performance for highly parallel applications, Intel Xeon Phi coprocessor's ease of use is bolstered by the benefits of familiar programming models, techniques and developer tools available with Intel architecture. With greater use of parallel CPU code, software companies and IT departments do not have to retrain developers on proprietary programming models associated with accelerators.
Beyond its compatibility with x86 programming models, the Intel Xeon Phi coprocessor will be visible to applications as an HPC-optimized, highly-parallel, separate compute node that runs its own Linux-based operating system independent of the host OS. This feature allows more flexibility when implementing cluster solutions that are not available with alternative graphics accelerator-based technologies.
Made with Intel's innovative 22nm, 3-D tri-gate transistors, the Intel Xeon Phi coprocessor, available in a PCIe form factor, contains more than 50 cores and a minimum of 8GB of GDDR5 memory. It also features 512b wide SIMD support that improves performance by enabling multiple data elements to be processed with a single instruction. Last year Intel showed a live demonstration of the single Knights Corner coprocessor delivering over 1 TeraFLOPs (1 trillion floating point operations per second) of double precision real life performance, as measured by DGEMM. At ISC'12 Intel demonstrated the same effective performance of more than 1 TeraFLOPs per node but measured by the industry standard benchmark Linpack (Rmax)1. By comparison, in 1997, it took more than 9000 Intel® Pentium® processors inside the ASCII RED* supercomputer to break the 1 TeraFLOPs barrier.
While initial production product shipments are planned for the second half of 2012, Intel has announced that the first Intel Xeon Phi coprocessor-based development cluster is up and running and ranked 150th on the Top500 list, delivering 118 TFLOPs of performance.
