Intel Z97 and H97 9-series chipset specifications detailed

Specifications leaked about the next generation of Intel's chipset, the Intel 9 series which will support Hasswel CPUs powered with the LGA1150 socket will features few advanced technologies, making us disappointing about the success of intel's 9 series motherboards.


The Z97 and H97 will be the first arrivals so what's new here, 1GB/s bandwidth speed capable for SSDs with the PCIe M.2 standard or known as Next Generation Form Factor (NGFF) Vs 600 MB/s for the current SATA 6Gb/s in addition to the the PCIe 3.0, Intel Rapid Storage technology which will support PCI Express-based drives, and the bad new is the lacks of the SATA Express technology, no DDR4 support reported which make the new chipset specification very close to the current 8 series, we can call this as some sort of a re-brand to the previous generation.
