How to improve your OCZ Vertex 4 SSD performance with BIOS update 1.5

You are an owner of an New OCZ Vertex 4 series SSD (solid state drives), then OCZ gift you a new firmware update which can improve your SSD performance up to 10 percent compared with precedent firmware.

The new 1.5 Beta firmware update come with an improved sequential read speeds up to 560MB/s instead of 550MB/s and up by 6.5% for writing speed for the 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB OCZ Vertex 4 models.

To update your SSD first make sure that your SSD is the same model as the firmware file, backup all files on your SSD incase you face any problem, you cant backward to the precedent firmawre after the update to the 1.5 Beta.
For firmware version 1.3 & 1.4RC, this firmware tool cannot update on a primary boot drive.

WARNING: This is a two step firmware update process for firmware older than 1.4.1.2. Otherwise it is a one step process.
  1.  Run OCZ Toolbox. Toolbox will update firmware to 1.4.1.2 first.
  2.  Shutdown and restart the system.
  3.  Run OCZ Toolbox again, Toolbox will now update to the latest firmware revision.
That's it now your SSD is faster !
