Overclocking the HTC One using LN2 and a new 3DMark Benchmark record

This is insane, few years ago, who can imagine someone to overclock a smartphone using LN2 Nitrogen, folks at HKEPC  laboratory put the latest HTC One smartphone under a heavy overclocking test, that happen on an Android overclocking contest, setting a world record on 3DMark Android benchmark, all that under the eyes of Oliver Baltuch, President of Futuremark Corporation.

The technique was quite simple thanks to the metallic cover on the HTC One, using an LN2 container to cool down the metallic back cover which is under a direct contact with the chips inside, for sure this will not work with plastic covered smartphones unless you've done some modifications, the results was impressive, under this sub-zero condition they managed to fix the Krait 300 quad-cores clock to run on a fixed speed @1.72Ghz avoiding any overheating that will cause a state drop, the result is 11585 on the overall 3DMarks benchmark score.
