Adata XPG Z1 DDR4 2800Mhz Specifications detailed

Adata, one of the best DDR modules supplier in the world today is proud to announce their first DDR4 desktop memory with an overclocking feature and a clock rate of 2.80 Ghz.

The XPG Z1 is specially built for the intel's "Haswell-E" overclocking although high-end DDR3 modules can perform better, but when combined with four modules it turn into a quad channels data rates vs dual for the DDR3.

Adata XPG Z1 2.80Ghz will be available in 4GB and 8GB variants in dual and quad channels kits, when running at 2800Ghz the timing is in CL16 16-16 configuration, the voltage is at 1.2V, Adata put a large heat sink with carbon finish to support high clock rates, currently no one know the overclocking limits of this one, until the release date which is set to September, but keep in mind that some new high-performance DDR3 modules reach 2.95Ghz.

What Adata report on the Press release:
Looks cool, Acts coolThe XPG Z1 features a jet wing-inspired design with carbon texture used for race cars, symbolizing the pursuit of extreme performance. Thanks to the unique Thermal Conductive Technology and 10-layer PCBs with 2oz copper, the chips in XPG Z1 can contact with the heat sinks directly, ensuring IC and PCB operate in an environment of equal temperature, as well as reduce electric resistance and consume less power, which greatly enhances the quality of signal transfer. The Maximum Durability and AssuranceThe XPG Z1 DDR4 DRAM Module is made of high-quality chips selected through a strict filtering process. It also uses the top quality PCBs (Printed Circuit Board) that effectively extend the lifespan of memory modules. Additionally, ADATA memory modules provide customers a lifetime warranty for the maximum assurance with excellent service.
