Core i5-3570K Vs Core i5 2500K Vs GT 240 graphic benchmark results leaked

After few months Intel will release a new generation of micro processors code named "Ivy Bridge", featuring the all new 22nm processing technology for the first time.

The new Ivy Bridge based CPUs will feature Intel's latest graphic chip Intel HD 4000 series supporting DirectX 11 and 4K video playback, previous reports said that the HD 4000 will be 30% to 100% increase in integrated GPU performance, now we have some proofs, a guy at Expreview forum managed get hand on the Intel Core i5-3570K and done some benchmarks on the chip, comparing the internal graphic chip with the current Intel HD 3000 using the Core i5 2500K and the Nvidia Geforce GT 240 discrete card.

The results are 67% graphic performance boost in total if you upgrade from an Intel core i5 2500K Sandy Bridge and when compared to the Geforce GT 240 this last one win with 36%, the integrated HD 4000 chip is pretty good and acceptable, running DiRT 3 and Far Cry 2 at a playable frame rate but doesnt reach the mainstream discrite graphic cards from Nvidia or AMD, more benchmarks tests results ar on the snapshots bellow, check it :
