The world's highest resolution for smartphones with 651ppi using LTPS technology

Japan Display introduced to the crowd the highest resolution display screen on the world by producing a prototype panel that has a whooping 651ppi (pixel per inch) resolution in 3.2" display size, this is considered the double of the current highest resolution achieved and this technology is named LTPS.

Such a high resolution display is close to the human eyes limit make it perfect when used on a 5" display and holding the device 8 inch from the eyes, check out this useful information from some analysts, Raymond Soneira from DisplayMate Technologies report to several tech blogs, "you will be able to see 477 PPI when holding a smartphone at 12-inches away from your eyes, and if you moved it closer to around 8 inches you’ll be able to see up 716 PPI" and so on, now just imagine how this technology will make extreme clear picture for mobile devices in the future.
