Radeon HD 9970 GPU first details

The first details of the next generation GPU from AMD take apearance at Chip Hell Forum, guys up there gets information that the first Engineering Samples of the AMD Radeon HD 9970 is already sent to partners and testers.

AMD graphics Partners are now preparing a new design for the new HD 9970 GPU which is based on the  "Hawaii XT" GPU which forms part of the new "Volcanic Islands" micro architecture, the new series is considered to handle the next generation of games Engine, something like Battlefield 4.

Deep specifications of the product is unknown right now, few weeks and some benchmarks will leaks comparing the HD 9970 with Nvidia GTX 780.
