Atom S1220 S1240 S1260 specifications appearance

Good news for those who are searching for a low cost servers with an ultra low power consumption, Intel reply to their needs with three new Atom CPUs for servers the Atom S1220, S1240 and the S1260.


Recently CPU World managed to get the specifications for these three CPUs which are codenamed "Centerton", these new CPUs will has an awesome sub-10W TDP, dual-core based with two "Saltwell" cores with single-channel memory support, the L1 memory cache for each core is 24 KB, the L2 is 512KB for each core rather, and PCIe 2.0 support for extension, the CPU can handle up to four threads thanks to the Hyper-Threading technology already activated, Intel 64 technology, VT-x, SSE3 and SSSE3, specifications for each CPU below.

Atom S1220: dual-core, 4-threaded, 1.6GHz, 1MB L2 cache, 8.1W TDP

Atom S1240: dual-core, 4-threaded, 1.6GHz, 1MB L2 cache, 6.1W TDP
